Knowing the players will earn $1 of their Bonus amount for every $5 they pay in rake, it quite easy to calculate the amount of tournaments it would take to clear a Bonus of a certain size. For example, if you have activated a $500 Bonus and want to clear it playing mainly $100+9 tournaments and sit & go’s, you will be paying $9 in rake every game, which will get you 49.5 award points. That would equal to $1.8 of your Bonus amount released for every game you play.

49.5 / 27.5 = $1.8

By dividing 500 by 1.8, we can then figure out how many game it will take for you to clear the entire Bonus.

500 / 1.8 = 278

The same calculations can be applied to cash games, however, with cash games only approximations can be used because the amounts of rake you can generate is not fixed and is dependent on a few variables that differ from player to player. For example, if you want to figure out how many hands it will take to clear a $100 Bonus playing NL25 Cash games, you will first have to make an approximation of how much rake you pay per every 100 hands played.

For the calculations in the table above a rate of $3 per 100 hands played was used for NL25. $12 per 100 was used for NL100 and $48 per 100 for NL600.

Once you know these rates, you can calculate that playing NL25 you will clear approximately $0.6 of your Bonus for every 100 hands you play.

$3 / $5 = $0.6

This means that clearing a $100 Bonus will take approximately 16,600 hands.

$100 / $0.6 * 100 = ~$16,666

VIP Program

ACR Poker offers players a very well rounded VIP program that will suit the needs of all players. VIP tiers are divided into military ranks and reaching the top means becoming a 5-star General!

To climb the ranks players have to earn Rank Points, which are earned directly whenever rake is contributed at the cash game tables or tournaments. Rank points are always earned at a constant rate of 5.5 Rank Points for every $1 paid in rake. The ranks of Lieutenant, Captain, Major and Colonel are monthly ranks, which means that players must earn a certain amount of Rank Points per month to maintain these statuses. Then there are the ranks of General and 5-star General, which are yearly ranks, so once you earn them, you are guaranteed to keep them for at least the coming year, but you’ll need to earn a certain number of Rank Points during that year to maintain the status for next year.

You can check the amount of Rank Points you have earned by clicking the “Rewards” Tab in the Poker Software, where your Rank Points counters displayed. There are two counters, one for monthly points, and one for yearly points. The table below shows the Rank Points Requirements for different ranks.

Besides Rank Points, players also earn Combat Point. These points are earned with an applied multiplier based on your VIP rank, and the higher your rank, the more Combat Points you earn for every Rank Point earned! Combat points can be exchanged directly for cash, and the higher your rank, the better deal you will get on that exchange! Keep in mind though, Combat Points can expire if you have not earned a single Point in a calendar year, so make sure to keep track of that! The table below shows the differences between ranks and the benefits that come with earning higher ranks.
