Once the installation file is downloaded, open it to start the installation process. There are no tricky parts to the installation and you should be done with it in minutes.

Create a New Account

The ACR Poker desktop client can be installed on both Windows and Mac. While there are no downloadable apps available yet, you can still play on your phone just by going to the ACR Poker website and log in into your account there. The downside is that only a limited number of games is currently available on mobile, but on the other hand, it doesn’t matter what phone you have. If you can run a browser, you can play!

ACR has invested a great deal into improving its software over the years and these days the efforts really show. The desktop client is now slick and clutter-free, allowing players to quickly find their preferred games. All the important things are seemingly always in sight, and thanks to an array of lobby filters, the game lists can be condensed to games as specific as you like.

When it comes to further customization, plenty more features are available. The default settings will have most of the table features enabled, but if you want, you can strip all of them if they are just getting in the way of you making money! You can customize chat, animations, use of additional backgrounds (e.g. in case of a final table), additional promotions on the corners of the table and much more. Perhaps most importantly for multi-tabling players, there are built in options for easy switching between tables and auto engaging the time bank, which can truly be a life saver.

The Beast & Sit & Crush

ACR Poker offers players amazing additional incentive to play cash games and sit & go’s by offering two separate weekly progressive jackpots for each game type.

Sit & Go 2.0

Sit & Go 2.0 is a format exclusive to ACR Poker and it brings even more excitement to the world of Jackpot sit & go’s. Unlike traditional jackpot sit & go’s, here the game starts even before the cards are dealt and the prize pool is decided.

To begin with, this is a game played by 9 players, instead of the usual 3-4 shorthanded games of this type. Before the game starts, the 52 card deck is split evenly into red and green cards and 3 additional gold cards are added. Each player gets dealt one card and one by one, players have to show their card.

The goal is to get a row of as many green cards as possible before hitting a red card. The more green cards in a row are opened, the higher the prize pool for the game will be. But it get’s even better! Remember the 3 gold cards? Well, if players manage to get a row of 9 green cards, but also in between them reveal 1 or more gold cards, they get to play for the jackpot!

Mobile & Tablet

ACR Poker offers an Android download but there is no IOS downloadable app. However, that is not a big issue because an instant play mobile version is available through a browser. All you need to do to use it is to log into your account at ACR Poker website. This actually has a lot of advantages over dedicated apps, like being able to play on any type of phone and operating system.

Even though not all games from the desktop client are currently available, a lot more should be added in the near future, and at this point you can already enjoy Americas Cardrooms biggest attractions like Jackpot Sit & Go’s and Sit & Go 2.0 on you mobile device!
